Fire Extinguisher Inspection
Portable fire extinguishers must be inspected at least monthly. Check the following items regarding portable fire extinguishers when evaluating the FPP:

- Verify pressure: The needle on the pressure gauge should be in the green (operable) zone.
- Inspect condition: Look for dents, corrosion, leaks, or other physical damage.
- Confirm label and instructions: Instructions should be legible and face outward.
- Check pin and seal: The pull pin should be in place and the tamper seal unbroken.
