Correcting COVID-19 Hazards

Unsafe or unhealthy work conditions, practices, and procedures should be documented using a COVID-19 Inspection form.

Those hazards that present the greatest risk should be corrected first.

Those conditions, practices, and procedures identified should be corrected promptly based on the severity of the hazards, as follows:

  • The severity of the hazard should be assessed and corrected within established time frames.
  • Those hazards that present the greatest risk will be corrected first.
  • Individuals should be assigned responsibility to ensure timely correction.
  • Follow-up measures should be taken to ensure timely correction.
