Description

Ethics for Safety Professionals examines the role ethics plays in workplace safety and professional decision-making. The course introduces core ethical principles and explains how they influence risk management, leadership, and everyday safety responsibilities.

Learners will explore ethical decision-making, the value of integrity in safety practice, and the connection between ethics and a strong safety culture. The course also highlights key concepts from the BCSP Code of Ethics and supports professionals in making fair, responsible, and safety-focused decisions.

BCSP Recertification

CSP® credential holders must accumulate at least 0.5 recertification points (equivalent to 5 hours) of ethics courses. This ethics component is mandatory for maintaining active status and the value of BCSP® credentials.
