Employee working with a wheel and tire.

Once you have performed the worksite analysis and identified existing and potential hazards, you are ready to implement the systems that prevent or control those hazards. To combat these hazardous conditions and unsafe work practices, control strategies, called the "Hierarchy of Controls" have been developed.

The first three strategies of the, "Hierarchy of Controls" protect employees by eliminating or reducing the hazard itself. The final three strategies protect employees by eliminating or reducing exposure to the hazard. Eliminating or reducing the hazard, if possible, is always more effective than reducing exposure to the hazard.

The courses and programs listed below will help provide the knowledge and guidance you will need as a business owner, manager, or supervisor to control and prevent hazards from causing harm to your employees.
