745 Welding, Cutting, and Brazing Safety

Introduction

This course introduces the student to the hazards and safety precautions related to welding, cutting, brazing and soldering required by General Industry OSHA law and regulations . The various types of welding operations are discussed. Exposure to thermal and chemical hazards are covered, as well as precautions including the personal protective equipment required to mitigate those hazards.
