Description
Hazardous chemicals can cause fires, explosions, acute injuries, and long-term health effects. OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires chemical hazard information to be classified and communicated through a written program, container labels, safety data sheets, and employee information and training.
If you work with or supervise employees who work with hazardous chemicals, this course will introduce the primary requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1200 and the 2024 HCS update, which is based primarily on Revision 7 of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
