Steven J. Geigle, MA, CET, CSHM

Curriculum Director, Instructor

Steven J. Geigle is a highly experienced safety professional with over 40 years of expertise in occupational safety, health, and environmental training. He is an accomplished instructor, manager, course developer, and evaluator with a proven track record in designing, delivering, and assessing both classroom and online training programs.

Steven served as a safety officer in the United States Air Force for four years and spent 16 years with the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Department (OR-OSHA) as a Senior Safety Training Professional and Supervisor. During his tenure, he authored numerous classroom and online training materials, conducted a wide range of courses, and presented at conferences. He also received national recognition for the OR-OSHA online training program.

Steven holds a bachelor's degree in general science from Brigham Young University, a master's degree in communications from the University of Northern Colorado and is a graduate of the USAF Air Command and Staff College. He has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Utah State University for four years, served as an Adjunct Instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for two years, and was a certified OSHA Outreach Trainer.

Christopher Geigle, GSP, MS OSH, MS Ed

President & CEO, Instructor

Christopher Geigle holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Arts in Education, and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health. He is also credentialed as a Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

Over the past 15 years, Christopher has developed and delivered comprehensive training in CPR, first aid, and workplace safety. His work experience includes various aspects of instructional design, course development, interactive training activities, assessment development, and student support.

Christopher is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly reviewing new and updated safety and health standards, and attending professional safety and health conferences to stay current in his field.

Barry Geigle, MA, ASHM

Vice President, Instructor

Barry Geigle is a highly qualified safety professional with extensive expertise in the fields of safety, health, and environmental training. He holds an Associate Safety and Health Manager (ASHM) credential from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM). This credential reflects his deep knowledge and commitment to safety standards and best practices.

With over 15 years of education and practical experience, Barry has developed occupational safety and health courses tailored to the needs of students working in the general and construction industries.

Barry’s work encompasses various aspects of instructional design, course development, and student Q&A, ensuring that participants are well-equipped to implement safety protocols and procedures in their workplaces.

In addition to these primary qualifications, Barry completed and passed the OSHA 501 and 511 in 2014 to become a 10/30-hour OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer, demonstrating expertise in OSHA standards and compliance. Barry’s extensive experience allows him to author and deliver specialized courses that meet the specific needs of industries requiring high-level safety standards. Barry’s strong educational foundation, practical experience, and recognized certifications make him a highly capable and respected professional in the safety training field.
