15. Regulatory Information
Section 15 identifies safety, health, and environmental regulations that apply to the product but are not otherwise listed on the SDS. Examples may include applicable federal, state, local, or international requirements.
OSHA does not enforce the content of Section 15 because that information falls outside OSHA's jurisdiction. However, Section 15 remains part of the standardized 16-section SDS format.
16. Other Information
Section 16 must include the date the SDS was prepared or last revised. It may also include a description of changes from the previous version, abbreviations, references, and other useful information.
